AFAIK, any geometry you set in Color will be ignored by final cut. It doesn't export the data into the XML read by final cut, it simply recycles the original xml generated by final cut populated with the new media.

The only way I know of to deal with this is to hard bake your geometry. I don't know if there's a more official way to do this, but here's what I do:

Right click on the colorproj, show contents, move the FCP....xml somewhere safe. Render. Your geometry keyframes should now be active and will be hard rendered into picture. Send back to FCP, or export XML. (If it doesn't work, try putting the XML back in the colorproj)
