Re: The price of making art

Is you showing that picture performance art? What does the picture of that guy have to do with the thread, who is that guy? Is that a picture of you? I only ripped on your because your comments are totally amateur, but I have been there, that is why even chimed in, I wish people had told me to shut up and quit whining when I first started out. I was trained as a colorist on a system that costs $600,000. I have also used Speedgrade and Scratch. So during this last economic crunch a few shops I used to freelance as a colorist/finisher/compositor closed down, so I was forced to start using COLOR at my small shop. I had the same comments at first, I wanted to COLOR to be a 100k color app, but once I shut up and learned to deal with the quarks, I was happy. COLOR moves pixels the same as any app out there, and fact is there are people at APPLE at the lowest and highest levels who know how to make COLOR better, but its not that easy. Apple is a huge company with a large task of taking over the computer world. YES, Apple COLOR has a lot lot lot to be fixed and desired, and it needs upgrades ASAP.
But if you zip your lip and learn how to use it, you will like it. And when the next upgrade comes you will be happy.
