Thanks for your answer Jonathan.
I know the backlight was green in that room because I could see the difference from the corridor, outside of the room, where the tungsten lighting served me as a reference.

I am thinking of buying a better LCD or a CRT (I'd like to find a good one) display. I will also buy a calibrator, I am thinking on an EyeOne or a Spyder3Pro.
Anyway, these questions were not only to have a better calibrated display, but to understand more about it. I already knew how to calibrate the display color, was thinking of some special answer that might change a detail in my steps when calibrating it, but I wanted to ask "what if".

It can be compared to this: When you're loading film in a dark room and you start to see a small beam of light under the door. Should you be afraid of it? How much light is needed to do minimum veil on film?
I exposed a whole can of film for almost 2 seconds once, in a day-lit room, and the side-veil didn't even get near to the image. I also carried film rolls in a sealed black bag without the can, and it was not affected. A person who has never had the oportunity to commit mistakes will not be able to know how much to fear that small beam of light under the door, no matter how many thousands of film rolls he loaded.

I agree with Jonathan, and that's why I don't say I'm wasting my time. Almost every experience is learning.
I am sorry to have been rude with them, but it's this thing that really upsets me.

Hope you all understand.
Rodrigo
