Re: FCP Grades to Color

In the COLOR Manual it says, DO NOT export from FCP to COLOR with any color correction filters. Or any filters at all for that matter. Don't bother trouble shooting it because you are NOT supposed to do it. Also you are probably using a 10bit 4:2:2 YUV codec, where COLOR is 4:4:4 RGB. That is your shift. But don't CC in FCP 3way then go to COLOR to grade that FCP 3Way, thats insane. Its like putting a lawnmower engine in a Ferrari. Just redo the CC you did in FCP in COLOR. COLOR has quarks, but it is light years beyond the FCP 3Way Corrector.
