QuickTime 7.5.x?

Anyone have luck with the latest QuickTime, specifically how it interacts with the Adobe CS3 suite?
A few months ago, my Quicktime automatically updated, and suddenly, I wasn't able to render any previews in Premiere Pro.
After much frustration, I realized it was the newer Quicktime that caused my issues (and others, too, from what I was reading at the time).
I downgraded back to 7.1.5, and all was fine. I then disabled the auto-update, and I've been fine since.
In comes FireFox 3.0. It appears that FF 3.0 and Quicktime 7.1.5 don't play well together, and FF wants me to upgrade to the latest Quicktime (7.5.x). Without that update, FF won't play ANY embedded Quicktime movies in the browser.
Not a serious problem, but an annoyance none-the-less.
So I'm asking if others have had success with QT 7.5.x with their Xena systems before I decided to update.
Thanks!
