Hologram Tut
by Jordan McGehee on Aug 18, 2009 at 8:09:18 pm

Hey guys,

I love the hologram tutorial but I am having some problems, when it comes time to apply the grid it seems after I do the steps following including setting the top video layer to stencil alpha it seems as if the grid lines go beyond the actor. I can tell b/c when I key out the background I see them and when he did it it did not. I followed the steps carefully and re-did the tutorial multiple times w/ the same result. Also I guess as a result when I put the gray solid underneath the stencil alpha layer it completely covers it up not just covering the silhouette of the actor like in the tutorial. I have After Effects CS4 on a Leopard Mac. Could I have a wrong configuration or something? Please help!

Thanks in advance!
