Without seeing the spread from the lights and the wall and everything else, it's hard to say yes or no to specific angles and throw distances...
You'll have to try to observe the wall and squint a bit and try to get the coverage as even as possible.
As far as backlighting from above...if it's a low ceiling, that can get too hot rwally fast. If there is a green floor as well as a green wall, the spill coming up from the floor needs to be dealt with and a down light won't cover those areas.
The closer the shots are, the better off you are as you can manage the space around the forground person very efficiently when the frame is cropping lghting that is two feet away.
