Thank you both for your answers.

Very interesting. So thinking cheap and makeshift, would the girls maybe 10' in front, with 2x ~500? watt floods over eachother on either side maybe at 30deg angles pointing at the green screen work? And then what sort of wattage, angle, back light would you suggest. Without having to figure how to focus and place a back light, would a light coming from above them possible accompish the same thing?
Also, I read about diffusing the side lights towards the wall, for more even lighting I assume. Are there some cheap and easy tricks to that as well?
