Output to Final Cut Pro!

Hi all,

I have had Ultra 2 for a couple of years now and have just got a mac and FCP. I have output an uncompressed 24bit quicktime file and can't get it to work within FCP. (It plays in FCP but when I try to realtime preview and edit it's just a black screen) any suggestions? The other compressed files I've tried to output degrade the video significantly! I spoke with apple and they said that FCP is not supported with uncompressed 24 bit and it needs to have a codec?!? They suggested recompressing within FCP to allow me to preview and edit in realtime but it just turned to black!

Any help would be very much appreciated.
