Ultra output failure - firewire DV PAL footage

Hi everyone

I've just been trying to use Ultra for a difficult key and it worked like a charm until I came to render the final footage.

With Premiere Pro-captured PAL firewire DV footage, Ultra got to 25 frames and brought up a render error - something about render loop and error code 80004005. I tried both the lagarith codec and the standard DV option. The same happened with an image sequence. But i was able to export using uncompressed footage. Trouble is that 2 minutes came out at 5 Gb.

Has anyone come across this problem before? And is there a fix - I tried a forum search but didn't spot anything.
