Most of the portable screens are pretty good, though some do have a sheen to them that can make pulling a clean key through the "swept" arc (where the fabric goes from horizontal on the floor to vertical as the backdrop) as there is often a specular sheen at some point.
I would test any screen before buying as most of the portable screens I've seen work well with the way one software package works, and not as well with another...
I use a painted sweep for most of my studio stuff personally...
I've had some of these reflective "light ring" systems produce some pretty impressive results as well.
