CS4 OL Audio Flutter
by Buck Wyckoff on Sep 3, 2009 at 1:35:45 pm

I just loaded CS4 Master Suite on a Sager custom notebook for HD/SD work. The machine is a powerful quad core i7 Extreme, 6GB ram, 3-160GB Raid 0 SSD's, NVidia GTX280, Vista Ultimate.

I'm new to Premier Pro & After Effects. I've used On Location when it was DV & HDV Rack on my old laptop.

When I hook up DV or HDV sources to the laptops firewire port, the Audio flutters in On Location. It's is like rapidly lifting your hands on/off your ears. It plays back with audio flutter if I record a clip. The same DV source material plays/records fine in Premier Pro.

Any known issues?

I also have problems with HDV in Premier Pro Capture & On Location, but as I am new to this whole setup, I will spend more time working through it before I lunge to a forum for a problem that may be something newbie-stupid.

Thanks
