OL CS4 bad display
by Jack Donnelly on Jul 22, 2009 at 4:22:57 pm

I've been a user from the old DVrack through HD to OL CS3. I purchased Production Premium CS4 and loaded the new version on the same laptop and it gives me a greenish negative monitor that pulses. As soon as the camera is recognized, the vectorscope and level display disappear and the green video starts pulsing. Half of the time, the program crashes within 5 seconds after the camera is recognized. Tried my Canon XH A1 and my JVC HD100 - same results. CS4 ID's camera correctly.

I've downloaded the latest ATI driver for my HP zv5000 and reloaded CS4 but no difference. Very weird - CS3 still works fine.

Notebook zv5000 P4 3.4g
1G RAM
ATI 9000 w/256M Ram
Windows XP home SP2 (directx 9.0C)

I'm at a loss!
