losing sync matching onLocation / tape capture
by

Twice now I have captured video using onLocation CS3 where I have also captured from a second camera on which I have recorded to tape.
29.97 frames captured per tape and per onLoaction.
When I lay down the tape on a timeline with the OnLocation footage immediately below it and sync the two, I have found that at points I seem to loose sync, and it is always the onLocation footage that has missing frames - even though onLocation did not reflect any dropped frames.
Anyone else experience this ? Or have suggestions ?
