I think the fact is that OnLocation is mainely used on laptops which can't be used with any of the SDI/HDMI input cards you'd see on PC boxes. It is really aimed at HDV / DVCPro HD. Developping that feature might take more resources than Adobe is willing to spend. My 2 cents.
