Can sombody please help! Please

I just got my ipod touch and i wanted to customize it a little bit. I want to put a new battery icon on it. I seen one i liked so i clicked ( or touched) download. Then it would say safari cannot download. Can somebody tell me what im doing wrong? Thanks.
