Pause iTunes Playback

Hello,
I know this is an iPod forum and that this is pretty much an iTunes question, but I just thought that someone here might be able to figure this one out.
I am helping out with the Talent Show at my kid's grade school. Basically, I have 42 songs to play back in a pre-determined order. Sounds like an easy answer so far, right - make a new playlist and put the 42 songs in that order.
However, here's the catch. Between songs, the stage has to be switched so that the next group of kids can get set up. So, there needs to be anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds of a pause between songs.
Is there a way in iTunes to manually play a track and then, when the track is finished playing, have it cue up to the next track and pause until the play button is hit again? This way, I can manually hit play when the next group is ready to go.
If iTunes can't do this, is there another Mac program or iTunes script that can make this happen?
Thanks in advance!
-Pat
