Deleting a large number of duplicates from Itunes library?
by Rob Sankey on Apr 4, 2006 at 3:38:06 am

After having an external hard drive fail I copied all my music from my ipod to a new drive (using Senuti) with a new Itunes music folder. Now I have 2 duplicates of each song. Is there an easy way to delte the duplicates instead of selecting them one by one. I have about 4,000 that I need to delete. What a pain! Or is there a way to recreate the library using all the media on the hard drive as a reference?

Thanks in advance,
RS
