Deinterlaced video on playable DVD
by Daniel Edelman on Nov 4, 2009 at 6:29:15 pm

We've been exporting our rough cuts as deinterlaced mpegs so that they can be viewed by clients via the web. Suddenly one of the clients wants a DVD, so we made playable dvd's through iDVD using the same deinterlaced mpegs. Having never done this before (with the deinterlaced video) I am concerned that it may cause a problem when the dvd is played in a set-top dvd player. Any comments?
