Datavideo DVK-100 or Ultimatte DV

sorry I am very new to all this
I did a lot of reading
I want some professional opinion
on my decision
I decided to go with the Datavideo DVK-100
for chroma keying
because of tight budgets...
but if someone was to tell me that Datavideo is dinosaur you need to go with new
I would have to change my plans
I am planning on using a Sony DV home video camera to chroma key
and a monitor and dvd recorder to display and record the live chroma key process
I already know about the lights, green screen fabric, the reflector one, and etc. just need some assurance that the DVK-100 will provide decent quality chroma keying
thank you for reading my posting and hopefully you give me some good pointers
no high tech please... I am not there yet
