Hmmm, 100MB sounds about right for what you're doing. You could lower the bitrate for the video down to about 500Kbps if you're encoding in H.264 and that might make the difference.
Keep in mind that Photoshop TV has a lot of screen captures which compress ridiculously efficiently (say that 5 times fast...) so you're not getting a very good comparison.
