Also an option might be to set up an external virtual server with the required bandwith, put a web page there with a registration user log-on facility and host the files from there.
I am doing this with our company internal communications portfolio site which becasue it hsots video fiels and art work could n't go onto an IT server/intranet (bsides that IT people tend to live on a different planet to us so-called creatives ;) )
