Is anyone getting tangible marketing results from their podcasts?

I love the concept of podcasting and have produced several over the years but I'm having trouble figuring out if its worth adding as a major component of my marketing strategy.

Seems like the only tactic that works to bring in new $20,000+ projects is good old fashioned networking and word of mouth referrals from satisfied clients.

I'm excited about podcasting and social media but am having a hard time justifying the time I spend using these as part of my marketing strategies.

Does anyone out there have tangible evidence that this is working to build your business? I know it "builds our brand" and "gives us exposure to people who ordinarily wouldn't know us" but none of that has resulted in dollars in my pocket.

Literally, the only tried and true marketing strategy that has ever worked for business is networking, networking, networking. I hate the dog and pony show but when everything else continues to fail in terms of comparable results, I have to keep suiting up and pressing the flesh.
