Convert a RealMedia slide show to Quicktime

I've got a bunch of teaching slide shows that are in RealMedia player format. I've got an mp3 file, all the slides as individual files and a xml like file that has all the timing info, like this:
I'd like to turn these into something I can watch on my iPod. I haven't had any luck with conversion programs.
Now I understand how to create a Quicktime slide show, but that just makes every slide the same duration, which is not what I want. I have FCP which I could bring the elements into and edit them, but that would be too time consuming. If I could somehow convert the xml file to a EDL that FCP or some other program could understand, that would automate the process and make it a bit less painful. Any ideas?
