Podcasts crashing

Looking at many of the AE podcasts from this site they are constantly freezing the video while the audio continues, freezing completely, crashing Safari and iToons. I'm running the latest QT 7.2 and OSX 10.4.10

Anyone else seeing these problems. Searched the QT Mac forum and tried a bunch of other things without success. Podcasts from CCow just aren't working for me now.
