Is it possible to create "event driven" podcasts

Hello all
just wonder is it possible to create podcasts that are event driven
in other words could I use the buttons on an ipod (full size iPod with video capabilities) to move forward to specific points in a pod cast similar to the way I can jump to specific chapters on a dvd
for that matter can I make "stories" (chapter selections ) within a podcast just like I can within a dvd
I have access to the Final Cut Suite so if this idea is possible I may have the tools to get it together if there are other applications I need please let me know that as well
thanks to everyone in advance for your help in this matter
take care
