Hey Heidi,
No, you don't need to worry about title safe if it's only going to be displayed on an iPod/the Web. Just keep in mind that if you'd ever like to repurpose your content onto a DVD for display on a set-top DVD player, you will need to have content title and action safe.
It's always nice to look down the road.
