Thanks for the feedback John,
I have a pretty basic Dell desktop. I Ter drive. The properties state that it is using sys32 driver and the file system is NTFS.
I have been walking up in the percentage of the total project I render at one time to see if there's a break point. I have a successful render at 2.080 gig but when I went a little longer, 2.350 gig I got the Unknown Format error.
