The key here is you're asking about Vegas Pro 10.0. Version 10.0 only supported the GPU for rendering so having a dedicated graphics card will not affect your editing.

I assume you may keep that laptop for a while and Vegas Pro 11.0 and will take advantage of your GPU for editing. According to Sony, any GPU that supports OpenCL will work. Some just work better than others. So check if the integrated graphics support OpenCL.

If I were buying a laptop to use with Vegas Pro I would make sure that it had a dedicated NVIDIA graphics card to get the most out of Vegas GPU support. You don't want to buy a laptop based on Vegas Pro 10's capabilities and then be disappointed when you upgrade Vegas to a version that uses more GPU capabilities.
