I can't import .avi in Sony Vegas Pro 10 32bit

I recently had to change computers and i had to reinstall Sony Vegas
I had the exact same version of sony vegas on my previous computer & everything worked fine.

But on this computer i cannot import avi files.
Everytime i try it says "Warning: an error occured while opening one or more files. An error occured while opening a codec."

I already tried the Gspot thingy and it said that i'm not missing any codecs

Can someone PLEASE help me
