If I videos in the timeline above the let go, Ie a transition of about 2 seconds doing, To recognize the picture flickers and there is no clear transition

Where are you looking. If you are looking in the preview window what setting is your preview window on. If you are set iat high quality and have a relatively slow computer and/or are trying to preview HD its probabaly just that your computer cannot keep up with the time line. To check do a RAM render of one of the sections with the transition and see what it looks like. If it looks ok then your rendered project will probably be fine. Change your preview setting to preview.

When you render out your video what do you render it as and what settings do you use?
