Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 HELP Please

1000 sill pictures vacation project. Almost finished. The slideshow duration turned out too long, pictures play too long. Can the duration of the slideshow be shortened? I know that event play time is set in Prefences menue before the project start. Is it possible to select all pictures on the timeline and shorten all of their individual play time at once?
