vegas 6 audio levels
by Mel Perez on Mar 8, 2008 at 12:17:44 pm

Hi...am new to Sony Vegas 6 and was hoping someone could help me with an audio question. I noticed that when i load clips into the timeline they are loaded with a level of 0db. Some tracks sound softer so i have been adjusting them by ear using the volume sliders for each track to balance the sound. Would anyone know how to make sure the volume levels are adequate before i render to mpeg2 files? I don't want to set the levels so high that they distort, however i would like the softer passages to be heard clearly. What settings would be optimun?...Thanks
