A question before I buy Avid

Hi,

I'm currently looking into buying the Avid Media Composer system but just want to make sure of one thing before I do this.

My main concern is transferring files between a Mac and a Windows PC. We plan on doing a lot of logging and capturing on a Mac laptop and then transferring the files to an edit suite running on PCs. I'm just wondering if problems still exist between these platforms or if it will be hassle-free?
