Animatte Problem...

We just recently changed to an Avid Adrenaline system after years on FCP. I have to do a lot of cutouts of still images and promote them to 3D in order to manipulate scaling and rotation. I have been using the animatte effect to acheive this. Initially I was having no trouble, but now out of the blue a problem has arisen. I have a background on V1 and the animatted image on V2. I use my poly tool, export the matte pict, import, overwrite on V2, step into my effect and overwrite the graphic fill with my original freeze frame. This is where the probelm occurs, my animatte cutouts are not matching up, it looks like they are being shrunk or something, as they are smaller than the image. Like, if I animatte a man, his head and feet are cutoff in the imported pict matte. Am I making sense? Anyone know what the problem may be and how I can solve it. Thanks...
