Deck not recognized in new computer
by

I've been working on a VAIO and have decided to upgrade to a new DELL. Everything worked fine on the VAIO but it was a 3yr old computer and I decided to update.
On the VAIO everything worked fine. The deck (Sony DCR-TRV19) had no problem configuring. Now on the DELL the computer itself recognizes the camcorder but when I go to check decks or adjust deck its as if there is nothing plugged into the computer. Please help.
