Will MC run on 1.8Ghz G5 Mac w/4G RAM?

Hi,need a quick answer on this one. Looking to buy a Mac second hand and get the MC upgrade for my Xpress Pro. Will it run? Well? I can't spring for an Avid qualified workstation. The computer already has FCP Studio 2 & cs3 on it.
