xpress upgrade?

Hi CC,

I am a registered Avid xpress 4.5 owner. I haven't used the software for years on this machine (as it usually is used for FCP )and now it won't work since i updated quicktime and osx to 10.4.9. Do I have to upgrade the version of Avid xpress?

I tried to upgrade on the avid site but despite registration it doesn't let me download any upgrade. I am in the UK so there is no help phone.
