I'm evaluating CS6 coming from FCP hoping to use it as my new editing system. For the most part I love everything about it, but why isn't there a way for me to setup a custom keyboard shortcut for source assignment for specific tracks? This makes no sense to me and is such a pain in my butt. I don't want to have to touch the mouse every single time I want to make an insert or overwrite edit on a track above the footage on v1.

Also why for the love of all that is good in the world can I not assign the same keyboard shortcut to related commands (aka toggle commands) like "toggle all target video off" & "toggle all target video on". Please tell me I'm missing something here people!

Thanks!
