Todd,
10kb per frame does not seem like a lot to me, but I will take your word for it!
Besides the performance hit, what are the workflow considerations?
On the one hand, I want to see the stabilized video when I am editing so I know what the final will look like.
On the other hand, stabilization seems to depend on where the cuts are made.
