Hmmm. Sorry for misguiding you, I've never used v6. Perhaps the motion parameter is the way to go, and disregard the Transform suggestion.
I'm afraid it sounds like there are significant differences in the interface, that I'd only be guessing as to a solution.
I use PP 1.5 and the motion params are in a tab next to the monitor.
I see the parameters, and the keyframe markers.
I wonder, if you were to move the CTI to the beginning of the clip, set the motion param to resize it and position it.. Then, move the CTI to the end of the clip and do the same, if that would do the trick - keep the resized clip in one place.
Again, I'm sorry, as I'm just guessing.
