EDL complications

I am currently moving some projects over from Adobe Premiere to Final Cut Pro. However, the sequences have transferred with various problems. They include clips with incorrect in/out points, missing audio elements, and placing clips which had previously been deleted from the timeline back on the timeline. If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any advice it is welcome. Thanks all
