Import Clips from LiveMotion Exports - What Format?

I'm using some "seasoned software": Adobe LiveMotion 2.0 and Premiere 6.5. I'm creating an animation in LiveMotion for a song that will be uploaded to YouTube. It will consist of about 100 separate clips about 1.5 to 2 seconds each, each with a small amount of animation (hand waving, eyebrows lifting).
I've got four related questions (to start)
1) Is there a "better" format for transferring from LiveMotion to Premiere: animated gif or quicktime movie? )(both work ok).
2) Is there a way that two clips (either an animated gif or quicktime movie) can be "overlaid" so that they run at the same time in two different video tracks, and they both appear?
3) Can "transparency" in an animated gif create the effect I'm asking about in 2) if it's possible at all?
4) Premiere 6.5 is not importing (or even "seeing") LiveMotion 2.0 SWF exports...should it, or have I missed something there?
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks!
