Link Time Code in Elements?
by Nate Hanson on May 30, 2008 at 6:12:14 am

I'm trying to edit an hour-long wedding shot from two cameras in Premier Elements 2.0. I've noticed a significant drift in the audio and video between the two shots. It's fine at the start, but they slowly get out of sync.

I've heard that capturing the footage in smaller chunks (rather than one whole tape at a time) would help, but I'd like to avoid re-capturing the footage if at all possible.

I'm wondering if Premier Elements has a method of syncing by keeping the time code lined up? Both tapes have the time code burned in from start to finish.

Thanks for any help!
