Best Macpro for PS
by Berenger Capmany (rostolls) on Feb 25, 2008 at 6:51:06 pm

Hello to all,

I want to purchase a new macpro only for PS work (no video) It will be retouching RAW photos (shoot with PhaseONE) and work in 8 and 16 bit.

Knowing that RAM is a must (I'm considering 8 or 16 GB), there is a substantial diference between the OctoCore 3.0GHZ and the Quad core 1.8 GHZ?

are the 1500 USD diference worth to get a octocore in front of a quad?

thing that now we're using G4 and first generation G5s..

thanks!
