You don't have to use an expression to do this -- you can simply parent the text layer to the null.

But before you go doing that, make sure your text layer's anchor point is where you want it: just use the appropriate rotation to see if it behaves the way you want. Copy the null's position and paste it into the text layer's position. NOW you can parent the text to the null.

While it's parented, move the text layer to the position you want. Now when you rotate the null, happiness ensues.
