i would agree. the less you have to use interpolation the better. not only does it involve a rather tedious workflow, but, as you found out, it changes the look of the footage. interpolated frames are never as clean as the original frames.

since it sounds like you are only working in pal 25p, i would definitely find a camera that can shoot that natively.
