Exporting from Mac to PC
by Kari Dullaway on Aug 26, 2008 at 2:49:17 pm

I am having a bit of a problem that I was hoping someone here could help me with. I am currently working with After Effects 7.0 on my Mac 10.5.4 After I was done with my video in the program I exported it out as an AVI file. This file works fine on my mac. But one of the people I need to view the video has a PC and her media player will not play the file. So I tried to export the video as an MPG2 but during exporting the programs keeps telling me that the export failed and that the program can't handle the export. I am at loss... My computer has plenty of power and memory...I am going to have her download quick time for the PC and see if that works ...but if someone could let me know what I am doing wrong that would be very helpful. Thanks so much.
