Import Premiere Sequence : All clips start at 00:00
by Ian Tomey on Aug 26, 2008 at 11:03:34 am

Hi All,

for the first time I'm trying to pull in a sequence from PPro (CS3) to AE (CS3). When I import the sequence, all the clips get imported and the composition has the snippets all correctly laid out in layers. However, all of these layers have a start point of the source video of 00:00.

Just to clarify, the time that each layer starts in the timeline is correct and matches the source sequence. It's the actual clip that's the problem. Instead of say there being a 3 second clip from 07:15 in myexample.avi, it's a 3 second clip starting at 00:00.

I've tried copy/pasting a single clip from the timeline and get the same problem.

Any ideas?

Ian
