Zoom out and point arrow

Dear sir,

I never use after effect before this. But i got one church project "10th anniversary" which need me to zoom out from one building to a map then got few arrows pointing out from that building to some are of the map. just like "a church mission is to bring Out God gospel to the entire world" how can i do that with simple step?

I am great in photoshop and i use ulead video. i will try learn and use after effect if it can produce the great scene.
I hope you can show me some guide. I really need your help.Im from Malaysia.
